Accessibility
What this website was built to, what has been tested, and how to tell us if something does not work for you.

The standard
This website is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. School districts frequently apply accessibility rules to anything they link to or circulate, so this is treated as a requirement rather than a nice addition.
What has been tested
- Every piece of text was measured against the colour behind it. All of it meets or exceeds the AA contrast ratio.
- The whole site works by keyboard. Focus is always visible, and a skip link jumps past the navigation.
- No essential text or control depends on hovering a mouse. Everything is readable in its normal state on a touch screen.
- Links, buttons and form controls are large enough to be used comfortably on a phone.
- Forms have real labels, describe what is required, and report errors in text rather than by colour alone.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Headings run in order, and each page has one main heading.
- Animation is restrained, and the site honours a reduced motion preference set in your operating system.
- Layouts were checked from a 360 pixel phone up to a wide desktop with no horizontal scrolling.
Known limits
No website is finished on accessibility. Testing so far has been done with automated checks and manual keyboard and mobile review. It has not yet been audited by an external specialist or tested with every assistive technology in use.
Documents
The programme flyer offered on this site is an image. Everything printed on it also appears as ordinary text on the packages and pricing page, so nothing is only available inside a graphic.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site gets in your way, email cindybarbera@comcast.net and say what you were trying to do and what happened. It gets fixed. If you need information from a page in a different format in the meantime, ask and it will be sent to you directly.
Accessibility during a visit
Access needs for the assembly or the workshops are agreed with your school before the day. There is a message box on the request form for exactly this, and it is read.
